Reality TV personality Suzi Taylor cops new drug, tainted property charges

Embattled reality TV star Suzi Taylor faces yet another court battle after she was allegedly busted with drugs and other bizarre items in a police raid.

The former Block contestant, whose full name is Suellen Jan Taylor, was not required to appear in person when her matter was mentioned in Southport Magistrates Court this month.

She is charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing tainted property, breaching bail, and possessing property suspected of being used in the commission of an offence.

Court documents reveal police searched a unit in a complex on Musgrave Ave, Southport on November 11 last year.

Taylor was allegedly found with small quantities of cocaine, meth, and marijuana, along with a glass pipe.

Police allege she was also in possession of a major haemorrhage kit believed to have been stolen. It is not alleged Taylor stole the item.

The 52-year-old was more recently charged with breaching bail on February 1, after she allegedly failed to report to the Broadbeach police station as required.

Defence lawyer Michael Gatenby appeared on Taylor’s behalf at her February court date, and asked that his client remain on bail until her next mention on March 2.

Taylor will be excused from appearing on the next occasion. She has not yet indicated a plea.
