The 27-year-old is alleged to have wounded two men, both alleged Comanchero gang members, outside a Biggera Waters unit about 3.30am on October 31 last year.

Morgan (pictured) has claimed it was in self-defence as the men had tried to set fire to the unit, the court has previously been told.

On Wednesday, he was scheduled to face a committal hearing to determine if there was enough evidence to send the case to trial.

Police prosecutor Andreea Iordache applied for an adjournment. She said the arresting officer did not complete the summons meaning two of the three witnesses were not available for court on Wednesday.

Defence lawyer Michael Gatenby, of Gatenby Criminal Lawyers, consented to the adjournment.

Magistrate Kerry Magee adjourned the matter to September 28.
