A car has been found been found crashed down an embankment in the Gold Coast hinterland sparking an emergency response.
The incident was reported to emergency services just before 7.40am on Wednesday along Beechmont Road in Lower Beechmont, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) spokesman said.
Two fire crews arrived at the scene a short time later and scaled the embankment to reach the wreckage.
No one was found inside the vehicle according to the QFES spokesman.
The incident was being investigated by the Queensland Police Service.
It has been contacted for comment.
