Two teenagers charged over break-ins, vandalism of police car on the North Coast enter pleas in court
Two of three teenage boys have faced court charged over allegations of car theft, break-ins and spraying a police 4WD with pink graffiti outside a North Coast station.

Two of three teenage boys charged with stealing a car, breaking into a service station, raiding a bowling club and spraying a police 4WD on the North Coast have faced court.
The boys, known only as MK and SK due to their age, have entered pleas during an appearance in Lismore Children’s Court.
MK, 16, pleaded not guilty to two counts each of damaging property, being carried in a car taken without the owner’s consent, and one count each of aggravated break and enter and participating in a criminal group, contribute to criminal activity.
SK, aged 15, entered a plea of not guilty to recklessly dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Both have been bail refused to reappear before the court on April 5.
A third boy, aged 15 and known as JW, is on bail to reappear in Lismore Children’s Court on Friday April 5.
He is charged with one count each of using a car taken without consent, aggravated break and enter and participating in a criminal group, contribute to criminal activity.
The charges come after a 15-year-old boy was separately charged with breaking into service stations at Broadwater and Evans Head.
Police state an LDV dual cab ute was first stolen from Brunswick Heads address on February 10.
“Police will allege that the vehicle was subsequently involved in several pursuits and other offences over the following weeks,” a statement read.
A service station on Yamba Rd, Yamba was allegedly ransacked for cash, food and cigarettes, while a bowling club on Pacific Hwy at Broadwater was allegedly vandalised with graffiti and further damaged.
Two cars parked at Coraki Police Station – one of which was a police vehicle – were “extensively vandalised” with pink spray paint.
Police arrested the teens after carrying out raids at two properties on Spring St at Coraki.
It’s alleged Richmond Proactive Crime Team and Richmond Criminal Investigations officers seized a number of items linked to the incidents.
The ute was also found in nearby bushland and has been seized for forensic examination.
