He was arrested about 10.10pm and spent the night in custody.

Members of Federici’s family were in court to support him.

The court heard Federici missed a shift at Barbecues Galore in Lismore on Monday morning and had not been able to contact his employer since he was arrested.

Federici was released on bail.

He is due to face hearing on the charge of going armed with intent on October 24.

Federici is also listed to be sentenced on the day for DV order contravention and resisting police.
