Pete Evans has received some medical advice himself during a stoush with 2GB host Ben Fordham after the celebrity chef attempted to link the broadcaster to a former Nine journalist convicted over child porn.

A war of words has erupted between Pete Evans and Ben Fordham with the conspiracy theorist attempting to link the radio host to his former A Current Affair colleague who was convicted over child porn.
The stoush began after the former TV personality claimed he could have cured the late Royal Australian College of General Practitioners president Dr Harry Nespolon’s cancer with alternative treatments.

Fordham said the comments were deeply offensive during his 2GB broadcast on Tuesday. Evans hit back later that afternoon posting an old article of Fordham on Facebook alongside a separate article of former Nine journalist Ben McCormack.
McCormack pleaded guilty to child pornography offences in 2017.
In his post, Evans said both Fordham and McCormack had “ridiculed” him in the media and both had been charged with criminal offences.
Fordham was convicted of illegally recording a private conversation with a former Waverley Mayor in May 2018 but on Wednesday dismissed the attempt to link him to McCormack.
“There is no link, it’s a strange cut and paste smear from Evans,” he told The Daily Telegraph.
During his Wednesday morning broadcast Fordham offered Evans some medical advice. “You may remember that once upon a time Pete Evans was fine and normal. He had a job on TV but then Channel 7 decided they did not want a bar of him. They are happy to employ Schapelle Corby but not Pete Evans,” Fordham said live on air.
“I’m here to make it clear that you were rattled by the (my) criticism. That’s why you’ve gone on a Facebook spree. But you need to listen up. I’m worried. I’m no medical expert, but as you know, that should not rule me out from giving some medical advice because it has never stopped you.
“I think you need some help, I think you might be suffering from severe anxiety. That’s why you are attacking dead people. That’s why you are posting bizarre comparisons on Facebook. So take a chill pill Pete – then again you probably believe in conspiracy theories about chill pills.”
“But if you must continue with your attacks… focus on me, and leave the dead man alone.”
