A CRANE operator who allegedly trafficking drugs and firearms as a part of alleged Brisbane crime syndicate has been charged through the Australian Federal Police’s “sting of the century” crackdown.
Benjamin Joseph Haylock, 42, of Mermaid Waters, faces charges of trafficking in dangerous drugs (serious organised crime), unlawful trafficking in weapons, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of a drug offence, possessing dangerous drugs and contravening an order necessary to access information stored electronically.
NO CONVICTION FOR COAST WOMAN CAUGHT IN TAVERN ATTACK
A WOMAN who was a part of a group which attacked a father and son on a Gold Coast street has walked from court.
Izabella Grace Cohen-Rogers pleaded guilty in the Southport District Court on Thursday to assault occasioning bodily harm and affray.

AN alleged Mongols bikie gang leader accused of using a cafe chair and umbrella in a brawl with a rival motorcycle gang in a Gold Coast shopping centre has been granted bail.
Police allege the brawl between Tyrone Wilton Norman Poole and three members of the Finks raged through Australia Fair Shopping Centre about 4.30pm on Monday.
INQUEST OVER TIA SEX ABUSE SUGGESTION
TIAHLEIGH Palmer was likely strangled or suffocated to death by her “remorseless” foster father Rick Thorburn, who may have also sexually abused the girl before she died, a coroner has heard.
