Steak, pork or a three-course feast? Either way, your dad is in for a spoiling at The Star Gold Coast. A trio of different dining options are on offer at three restaurants, including a 500g grass fed scotch fillet with a beer at Cucina Vivo, a Borrowdale porchetta dish with potatoes and jus at Garden Kitchen and Bar, and a luxurious lunch of an entree, main and dessert at Nineteen. Garden Bar's lunch special is $29 while those looking to pamper papa can opt for the $120 per head dining experience at Nineteen.

QT Gold Coast’s Father’s Day high tea is less scones and Earl Grey, more pork belly and steak. The Surfers Paradise hotel is offering a ManTea on Sunday, September 1, with sticky pork belly and grilled wagyu making up some of the delicious nibbles on offer, served with a beer or whiskey. For extra famished fathers, the Grillfest Brunch at Bazaar Marketplace will offer a range of barbecued delights buffet style, including Moroccan spiced lamb chops, USA house smoked ribs and fresh seafood. Not to mention the typical towers of waffles, crepes, pastries and more on offer every weekend. You can guarantee dad’s day will be made before the clock strikes noon.

Everyone knows dads love a deal, so how does free dessert sound? Italian restaurant Ristorante Fellini will serve a complimentary dessert of Italy’s famous cream puffs to every dad who dines in on Sunday, September 1. The traditional Italian dessert, called Bigné di San Giuseppe, is eaten in almost every Italian region to celebrate Father’s Day and the chefs at Ristorante Fellini will be creating their version of the dessert for this special occasion. Bookings recommended to secure a table.
