The world’s most-pinned wedding dress, created by Gold Coast bridal label Grace Loves Lace, is about to go out of production.

The beachy Hollie, a $1980 gown with flowy silk chiffon and a daringly high split, made global headlines in 2016 after record numbers added it to their dream wedding board on Pinterest.

It’s one of 14 gowns the Burleigh-based designer has added to a “last chance” list as it prepares to release its anticipated new collection.

Grace Loves Lace founder and creative director Megan Ziems said the style was close to her heart.

“My sister-in-law wore it to her beach wedding and it inspired a legion of women to choose the dress for their own wedding day,” she said.

“We knew it was a special gown but we were truly overwhelmed by the response.

“For instance, when (Brit it-girl) Millie Mackintosh wore the Hollie for her wedding, she tagged us on a photo on Instagram and we gained about 15,000 new followers overnight.

“It just went a bit nuts. It was obviously the dress that everyone wanted.

“As we like to maintain the exclusivity of our gowns, all good things must come to an end and we feel the time is right to say goodbye to the Hollie.”
