“Our Kitty gown and Gypsy pearl skirt are a progression of the bohemian movement, where brides have cast off traditions of structured bridal gowns and opted for more wearable, even casual bridal,” she said.
Ms Gubanyi said she designed the garments after many brides-to-be were requesting the revealing look for their big day.
“I was getting quite a few requests to make gowns without lining using gorgeous sheer fabrics or sparkly tulle,” Ms Gubanyi said.
“A lot of these custom designs are very on trend and the sheer wedding dress is certainly a popular trend for this season.
“More and more we are seeing girls on their wedding day wear high-fashion pieces that you would see on the catwalk.”

The skirt and dress have the option to be lined with petticoats or bra cups, however, Ms Gubyanyi said you can pick up the unlined “grandma underwear” for a bargain at Kmart.
“We can make these gowns lined with satin under the skirt section, with an unlined bodice, then we sew in skin colour or white cups,” she said.
“Usually our fully unlined pieces are made to be worn with those suck-you-in, high-waisted “grandma” pants, either in nude or white.”
Gold Coast fashion designer Isabelle Quinn said while she wouldn’t opt for the look on a formal occasion, she loves the style.
“It’s fun and that bit risque, but it can be classy if you’ve got the right fabric,” she said.
“If you can pull it off, and you do it right, it can look really good. I am all for the sheer pieces coming out.”
