Nick Cummins shares pregnancy announcement with girlfriend, Alexandra George

The controversial ex Bachelor has made a major announcement and confirmed he’s expecting a “little badger cub” with his girlfriend, Alexandra George.

Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins has shared he is expecting his first child with girlfriend, Alexandra George.

The former rugby player made an intimate Instagram post in which he announced that him and Ms George were expecting a “little badger cub”.

“My darling and I look forward lovingly to the arrival of our little badger cub,” he wrote in a caption.

The couple went public with their relationship in March 2021, after dating in secret since at least June 2020 after they were rumoured to have spent lockdown together on NSW’s mid-north coast. It’s believed the pair met during a trip to the Kimberley region in Western Australia.

Ms George – a Sydney socialite – also shared the same photo of the pair kissing, along with the caption: “We decided to create a little hybrid!! Can’t wait to share this next chapter with the love of my life. Welcoming our little badger cub into this world shortly.”

The pair have yet to reveal the sex or expected due date of their first child.

The Honey Badger is perhaps The Bachelor’s most controversial alumni, after he failed to choose a contestant in 2018. During the season finale, Cummins sent both Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman home in an Australian Bachelor first.

After the show, Cummins also appeared on the premier season of SAS Australia in 2020. He was also romantically linked to chicken heiress Lucy Steggles after the met while hiking the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea.

Since sharing the good news, Cummins and Ms George have received a bevy of well wishes from fans and their famous friends.

“Congratulations!!! So happy for you both,” wrote Australian swimmer and former SAS contestant Shayna Jack wrote.

“Congratulations brother! So happy for both of you and the family,” wrote Collongwood player and AFLW star Sabrina Frederick.

Former rugby union star and aspiring Senator David Pocock also commented with an applause and heart emoji.
