He’s the (gangland) prince, she’s his princess; it’s a love story and the Supreme Court just said yes.

Five days after a police raid forced them apart, newly married underworld power couple Trent Jeske and Jade Heffer will be reunited after a court on Wednesday overturned bail conditions preventing any contact between the lovebirds.

The newlyweds were woken by Raptor Squad officers at Jeske’s Merrylands rental last Thursday with a search warrant, which was conducted as part of investigations under Strike Force Wessex into Organised Criminal Networks (OCNs) involved in drug supply using “dial-a-dealer” phones across Sydney.

Heffer, 28, the former wife of well-known underworld figure and Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu — who was shot dead at the couple’s Rhodes unit block — was arrested and taken to Granville Police Station following the raid.

Heffer was found to be in breach of bail conditions that required her to live with her mother in the rural NSW town of Barham, near Deniliquin.

While no action was taken on the breach, a Sydney magistrate imposed additional conditions on Heffer’s bail, including one that prevented her from having any contact with Jeske or going within 200m of his home.

The court heard Jeske, 26, was released from jail in February after serving more than 20 months behind bars after pleading guilty to distributing drugs for the Alameddine crime gang.

It is not known when the pair got together, but it is understood they tied to knot in an Islamic ceremony last month.

In court on Wednesday, Justice Natalie Adams removed the bail condition preventing the duo from contacting each other.

She noted the police raid had failed to unearth anything untoward at the house and Jeske was not Heffer’s co-accused in any of her cases.

Justice Adams said by all accounts, Jeske was a positive and stabilising influence in Heffer’s life.

“It is quite unusual to have a non-association with someone that is not a co-offender,” she said.

“I have to say I have never seen it before.”

Under Heffer’s revised bail conditions, she must continue living with her mother and reporting to local police, but is allowed to have contact with Jeske and stay the night at his Merrylands home each time she attends Sydney - which the court heard was a nine hour rive from Barham — for prearranged legal and medical appointments, including regular sessions with psychologist.

Heffer’s charges relate to allegations she hindered a police investigation into another former partner, Ahmad Alameddine, in August last year, while he was wanted by police on drug charges.

She spent seven weeks behind bars on remand before being granted strict conditional bail in the NSW Supreme Court.

She is yet to enter a plea to the charges.
