Dashcam footage from a passing taxi has captured the moment an e-bike rider was hit by a car which then proceeded to run over him in an horrific accident in Sydney’s east.

The 29-year-old male rider, who is fighting for life in hospital, was travelling along South Dowling St at Moore Park in the early hours of Sunday morning, when he allegedly rode into the path of a Subaru sedan.

The driver of the car, Cindy Pham, 26, told police she was travelling between jobs as a sex worker when the crash happened at 3.30am.

Ms Pham was later charged with mid range drink-driving, and will face court in March.
Police have not laid any charges in relation to the crash itself.

The Daily Telegraph has been told a taxi driver who witnessed the entire horror collision and stopped to render assistance to the critically ill man, has provided dashcam footage which allegedly shows the rider travel into the path of the car.
