Eastern suburbs real estate agent Evan Williams hit with new charges after assault allegations
An eastern suburbs real estate agent accused of flicking chilli powder in the face of his wife now faces an additional three charges following allegations of abuse.

A luxury eastern suburbs real estate agent accused of flicking chilli powder in the face of his wedding planner wife has been hit with more charges following allegations of abuse.
Evan James Williams was charged with seven criminal offences in June, including common assault, intimidation and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, after his then-wife Kashaya Williams went to police.
Mrs Williams is a well-known Double Bay florist, and has worked on various celebrity weddings, including that of Bachelor couple Anna and Tim Robards.
Williams pleaded not guilty to the offences, however, police have since laid an additional three charges, including taking action that results in emotional/intellectual damage, stalk, intimidate, intend fear or physical harm and common assault.
These charges do not relate to Mrs Williams, and he has also pleaded not guilty to them.
Williams was part of Gavin Rubinstein’s TRG agency until he was stood down, and featured on hit TV show Luxe Listings.
In July, his lawyer told a court Williams was “couch-surfing” following the breakdown of his marriage.
According to court documents, Williams is accused of assaulting his wife at their former homes across the eastern suburbs.
Mrs Williams told police that he put his hands around her neck and squeezed until she broke free on one occasion. He remains on bail.
