Bondi Junction shooting, underworld figure the target

The widow of executed drug lord Alen Moradian once ran a car hire business with murdered female gangster Lametta Fadlallah.

Natasha Moradian was seen being comforted by police at Bondi Junction on Tuesday morning just metres from where her partner had been shot dead.

It was the second time in less than 12-months that Ms Moradian has been rocked by murder, after her former business partner was gunned down in August last year.

Business records show Ms Moradian and Ms Fadlallah were both listed as directors of car hire business Go 2 Go Rentals which operated from 2007 to 2012, before it went into liquidation.

The two women were close friends, regularly pictured together on social media, alongside Ms Moradian’s sister Tanya.

It is not suggested Ms Moradian has been involved in any wrongdoing.

In 2022, Ms Moradian purchased a fruit and vegetable business, which she rebranded and relaunched earlier this year.

A staff member at the business did not want to discuss the fatal shooting of Ms Moradian’s partner when contacted on Tuesday.

“No offence but it’s not really appropriate you call here when she’s just lost a family member,” the woman said. “She’s not available.”

In a recent interview with the Hawkesbury Gazette, Ms Moradian said she was a regular customer of the business and jumped at the opportunity to buy it when she noticed it was for sale.

“I just felt it was time for a change. A lot of people during the lockdowns re-evaluated their life, their careers, spending more time with family,” she told the publication.

“I have had a cafe in the past but this is something totally different.”

The Moradian’s purchased a home in the lower Blue Mountains in 2022 after selling their West Pennant Hills home which had Versace-inspired interiors.
