Chilling photographs have emerged of accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon holidaying with, and cosied up to, one of the men he allegedly murdered.
The unseen photos come as a lawyer for the alleged double murderer confirmed his client is pushing ahead with a lawsuit against the NSW Police Force for bullying and harassment while he was in the job.
Police allege Lamarre-Condon, 28, used his service Glock to shoot dead Mr Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, inside a Paddington terrace on February 19.
He then allegedly bundled their bodies into surfboard bags and dumped them in bushland near Goulburn.
Three-months on since the alleged crime which shocked the country, The Daily Telegraph has obtained photographs of Lamarre-Condon and Mr Baird, a Studio 10 entertainment reporter, appearing loved up and happy.
The photos were taken last November and December, and show the pair at a family event, on a weekend away in the country and holidaying on the south coast.
“More weekends like this thanks,” Lamarre-Condon captioned one picture of the pair relaxing in bushland, each holding a beer.
Beneath a photo of the men at an event where Lamarre-Condon is holding a young child while another stands in front of him, the caption by the former cop read: ‘Last one. I promise”.
“Can confirm, despite this photo looking like I’m a dad of two kids, I’m only dad to one very cheeky french bulldog,” Lamarre-Condon wrote.
But police allege that a few months later when the “on again, off again” relationship between the pair ended, and Mr Baird began dating flight attendant Mr Davies, Lamarre-Condon was driven by jealousy.
He is accused of repeatedly breaking into Mr Baird’s Brown St terrace in the lead up to the alleged murder, and accessing his ex-lover’s phone and social media accounts.
On the morning of the deaths, police allege Lamarre-Condon broke into the terrace and fired three shots from his police pistol, killing Mr Baird and Mr Davies.
He then allegedly drove the bodies in a rental van to the Southern Highlands where he dumped them in bushland, before logging onto his work computer and lodging a formal complaint for bullying and harassment while he was in the police force.
It’s understood that complaint is now a lawsuit, with the lawyer for Lamarre-Condon John Walford confirming his client was pressing ahead with the case against the police force while he was employed as a constable.
“Yes, action against police continuing...it’s huge,” Mr Walford said.
Mr Walford had previously said Lamarre-Condon’s mental health would “probably” form part of the defence case.
Lamarre-Condon, who is on remand at in protective custody inside Silverwater prison, will face court again on June 18.
