A man has been hospitalised with a stab wound after being found injured on George Street in Sydney’s CBD early Friday morning.

An investigation is underway after a man was found with stab wounds in Sydney’s CBD early on Friday morning.
Officers were called to George St shortly before 5.30am after a man was discovered suffering a stab wound to his torso.
Police officers rendered first aid at the scene before paramedics arrived. The man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for further treatment.
A canvass of the area is currently underway, with detectives hoping to speak with the injured man once he is well enough to assist with their inquiries.
