BMW destroyed in suspected firebombing in Cabarita in Sydney’s inner west

A luxury car has been destroyed after a suspected firebombing attempt in Sydney’s inner west.

A luxury car has been destroyed after a suspected firebombing attempt in Sydney’s inner west overnight. 

Police were called to Cabarita Rd in Cabarita shortly before 11.30pm following reports of a car fire.

Officers arrived to find a black BMW SUV well alight. 

Firefighters extinguished the blaze a short time after their arrival but the vehicle was destroyed. 

There were no injuries reported due to this incident.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced.
