An alleged associate of the Alameddine crime clan has been charged with committing an act of cruelty on an animal, among a string of new offences that also include possessing a gun.
Trent Mathew Jeske is currently behind bars on remand on charges over his alleged links to the Ready 4 War (R4W) drug syndicate, which NSW Police allege is the Alameddines’ drug supply arm.
But detectives attached to Strike Force Sugarcane – which is investigating the alleged R4W syndicate – visited Jeske at a correctional facility cell on Tuesday to lay fresh charges.
Jeske, who The Daily Telegraph revealed earlier this year underwent lap-band surgery to lose weight, was charged after police allegedly found video evidence of the offences with a dog on a mobile phone.
Jeske was charged with five offences including possessing an unauthorised pistol.

But he also now stands accused of committing an act of cruelty on animal, two counts of carrying out a sexual act without consent and one count of sexually touching another person without consent.
Jeske will face Parramatta Local Court today.
