The son of Ian Thorpe’s former swim coach has been hit with more than two dozen new child sex abuse charges after a lengthy police investigation into horrifying claims he molested children at the swim school where he worked.
The St George Shire Standard can exclusively reveal former MasterChef contestant Paul Frost, 44, now faces 126 child sex abuse charges against 15 alleged victims after his latest appearance at Burwood Local Court on June 24.
Distressing new claims include that Frost allegedly had sexual intercourse with five previously identified complainants, including four boys aged 11 to 16 and one girl who was only 10.
Court documents had shown Frost’s alleged offending began in 1997, but one new charge dates back to June 1996.
The ex-primary school teacher is now accused of molesting 14 boys and one girl aged eight to 16 between 1996 and 2009 when he worked at his father’s Doug Frost Swim School in Padstow.
The St George Shire Standard exclusively revealed grim details of the allegations against Frost, who is charged with orally and anally raping four boys on multiple occasions and kissing two of them on the mouth.
The documents indicate police will allege at least one of those boys was subjected to a four-year campaign of abuse, with charges pertaining to assaults which allegedly began when the boy was 11 and continued until he was 15.
The documents also allege Paul Frost rubbed the alleged female victim’s vagina over and under her swimsuit and repeatedly forced her to perform sexual acts when she was only 10 years old.
Among the 25 newest charges are allegations Frost also forced the female victim to masturbate him.
The other allegations of sexual assault against the children are too graphic and distressing to be repeated.
At previous court dates pertaining to earlier charges the court heard Frost also allegedly swam naked with the boys, plied them with alcohol before showing them pornography, repeatedly touched their genitalia over and under their trunks and forced the boys to touch each other.
He was granted strict conditional bail after seven days behind bars following his initial arrest in September 2019, leaving him effectively housebound in advance of a criminal trial.
Frost may only leave the house in the company of his wife, mother or selected friends, in addition to reporting to police daily.
He is also forbidden from being around children unsupervised except for his own.
He also lost his contracted employment as a primary school teacher at Malabar Public School in Sydney’s south and as a university tutor at the University of New South Wales after the charges were laid.
He will return to Burwood Local Court on August 12.
