‘Mercedes Mum’ pleads not guilty to police pursuit near Wollongong

Sydney courthouse couture icon Margarita Tomovska has denied leading police on a high-speed highway chase in her signature luxury car last year.

Tomovska’s solicitor entered a plea of not guilty on her behalf at Wollongong Local Court after she was charged on November 13 with a police pursuit, exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h and having an unrestrained child in her car.

The single mother and brand ambassador denied she fled from Strike Force Raptor officers at 200km/h on the Princes Motorway near Helensburgh in her Mercedes AMG after they allegedly attempted to pull her over.

Tomovska’s solicitor will respond to a brief on April 9 with a hearing date to be set later this year.
