Man robbed at gunpoint in Hurstville carpark
A man who had made arrangements to buy two phones through an online marketplace was instead confronted by a masked attacker brandishing a gun who smashed his car window and robbed him in a Sydney car park.

A masked man armed with a gun allegedly terrorised a man who had arranged to buy two mobile phones through an online trading website before stealing his cash in a brazen attack in Sydney’s south.
On January 12 police were told a 29-year-old man had arranged with another man to buy two mobile phones through an online trading site.
The pair agreed to meet in a car park on Hudson St in Hurstville at 8pm the same day.
However, police have been told the 29-year-old man was approached and threatened by another man with a firearm as he entered the car park.
Sources told the St George Shire Standard the man had masked himself before he smashed the front driver’s side window with the firearm before stealing cash from the vehicle.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the shocking attack.
St George police were notified and are now investigating the incident.
Detectives have urged any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
