The bloody scenes of a horrific stabbing at a unit block in Sydney’s south have been revealed in a new photograph as the male victim continues to recover in hospital.
At 4am on January 11, a 24-year-old man suffering stab wounds arrived at St George Hospital in a critical condition after he was allegedly stabbed at a Bay St unit complex in Brighton Le Sands.
An image provided to the St George Shire Standard shows a bloody handprint and blood spatters on a wall of the unit complex shortly after the man was injured.
St George police were notified after the man’s arrival at hospital and commenced an investigation.
Early inquiries suggest the man was stabbed at the Bay St uni before he was then driven to hospital.
Officers established a crime scene and canvassed the vicinity.
No-one has been charged in relation to the incident but sources believe the male victim will make a full recovery.
