Kurnell man charged over cannabis plants after domestic dispute
A southern Sydney man has been charged with cultivating cannabis after police attending a domestic dispute uncovered the plants inside a home.

Police got a bit more than they bargained for when a call to a domestic dispute allegedly uncovered a stash of weed at a southern Sydney home.
At 7am on Sunday Sutherland Shire police officers were called to a home in Dampier St, Kurnell following reports of a domestic dispute.
When officers attended the property they instead located and seized 10 cannabis plants.
A 38-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Sutherland police station, where he was charged with cultivating prohibited plants.
He was granted strict conditional bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court on January 16, 2020.
The maximum potential penalty for cultivating prohibited plants in NSW is 10 years’ imprisonment.
