A trio of young cricketers have made their debuts on the same day at the same club in round six of NSW Premier Cricket.
Jackson Eldridge and mate Ravin De Silva have spent years playing their junior cricket alongside each other and on Saturday made their Premier Cricket debut together with Randwick Petersham clubmate Mitch O’Loughlin.
They are the first three players for Randwick Petersham who have played every grade at the club and became first grade capped players 136, 137 and 138.
Eldridge, captaining second grade at the club, and De Silva have played together in Metro Cup, Green Shield, Poidevin-Gray and now all five grades.
O’Loughlin, 19, has already created history at the club four years ago when he became the third generation of his family to play for Randwick Petersham.
His grandfather played between 1943 and 1972 and his father turned out for Randwick in the late 1970s and is now the assistant CEO.
