A multimillion-dollar upgrade to Riverstone High School has commenced construction today, earmarked to see 12 new permanent classrooms, refurbished student amenities and administration facilities.
The $21 million redevelopment, which is expected to be completed by mid-2020, will see the introduction of a series of flexible teaching spaces, as well as new students change rooms and a canteen.
Riverstone state Liberal MP Kevin Conolly said the upgrade project was well underway.
“We want our children to have the best education possible, and providing high-quality school facilities is a key part of that,” Mr Conolly said.
“I’m delighted the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is delivering on this important project.”
