Water-skier dies in Hawkesbury River accident
A man has died on the Hawkesbury River in Pitt Town after sustaining leg injuries in a waterskiing accident on Wednesday.

A man has died following a waterskiing accident on the Hawkesbury River.
Emergency crews were called with reports of an injured waterskier in Pitt Town about 3.40pm yesterday.
Both police and ambulance services arrived and found a man in a boat with leg injuries.
Officers and paramedics were unable to revive the man and he died at the scene.
Three other men, who were uninjured, were with him at the time.
It is alleged the trio told police the man was hurt while waterskiing on the river at Wilberforce.
The driver of the vessel was taken to Hawkesbury Hospital to undertake mandatory testing.
