Elijah Wood announced for Sydney Supanova Convention
Lord of The Rings’ Elijah Wood joins a studded line up of superheroes and action stars headlining comic convention Supanova.
The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood is coming to Sydney later this month, giving fans the chance to meet him in person.
Wood, who played Frodo Baggins in the blockbuster The Lord of the Rings trilogy, will join a stack of stars appearing at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming at Sydney Olympic Park from June 21-23.
The 38-year-old made his film debut in 1989 with a part in Back to the Future Part II and as child and teenager added many credits to his name including Forever Young, The Adventures of Huck Finn, The Good Son and Deep Impact.
He went on to feature in a wide range of films and television shows including I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Treasure Island, Happy Feet, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin City, and most recently, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
Wood will take part in a Q&A panel at Supanova as well as sign autographs and pose for portraits on the Friday.
Tickets are on sale to secure an autograph for $120 or grab a photo with him for $150.
Joining Wood at Supanova Sydney will be Star Trek: Discovery star Anson Mount, Arrow star Stephen Amell, Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeannie, Robbie Amell from The Flash, Barbara Feldon from Get Smart, Dan Green and Eric Stuart from Yu-Gi-Oh, and Mad Max stars Steve Bisley and Hugh Keays-Byrne.
Tickets for Supanova starts at $32.50 for a day pass.
