He’s the heroic rescuer who came to the aid of a teenager who fell down a cliff at a treacherous beauty spot.
And now the teen he rescued is his new fan, joining the audience to support him as he auditioned for reality talent show The Voice.
Their bond was forged on a cliff’s edge at Warriewood in 2014: Blake Hayes, 16, had fallen 10m from the Turimetta clifftop to a rock shelf below and was screaming out in agony — Blake Morgan was first on the scene, taking care of the injured teen for almost two hours until he was winched to the safety of a hovering helicopter.
Now the pair are reunited on TV. Blake Morgan, 21, from Elanora Heights, appears on the Nine Network talent show on Sunday, with Blake Hayes among friends and family there to support him as he faces the celebrity coaches.
Pop stars Delta Goodrem and Jessie J are in the red chairs, alongside rockers Joel and Benji Madden and singer Ronan Keating.

Mr Morgan admitted there were moments when he thought his namesake had died.
Mr Hayes was in hospital for more than 50 days and had hours of surgery.
He injured his pelvis and broke both arms but has now recovered.
Meanwhile, the former Narrabeen Sports High student had only performed in front of tiny crowds at Mona Vale Hotel, before going on the show.
And his mum Lisa and sister Chloe, 17, sent his audition video in without him knowing.
“I was always too scared to do it,” he said.
Details: The Voice is on Nine, on Sunday at 7pm, continuing Monday and Tuesday.
