Police on the hunt for a missing taxi and the thief who stole it
Police are investigating after a taxi driver had his cab stolen in Manly on Wednesday night, with the offender still on the run.

Police are investigating after a taxi driver had his cab stolen in Manly on Wednesday night, with the offender still on the run.
At about 10:30pm on Wednesday night, the 72-year-old taxi driver parked his car on Darley Rd in Manly to buy some food nearby.
He turned the engine off, got out of the car, but accidentally left his keys in the ignition.
When he returned to his car, he saw a man wearing a baseball cap drive off in the taxi along Whistler St.
Police have described the taxi as a Ford Falcon with “Taxis Combined” branding.
The taxi’s licence plate is T9276.
The cab was last seen near Kareema St in Balgowlah.
