A man has died after a horrific motorcycle crash near Port Macquarie
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding another fatal motorcycle accident on the state’s Mid North Coast.

A man has died in a single vehicle crash about 10 kilometres south of Port Macquarie.
Paramedics were called to the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Ryans Road at Lake Innes following reports that a motorcyclist had crashed into roadwork signage at 4pm on Saturday.
Emergency services located a man believed to be in his 50s suffering critical leg and arm injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
Despite their efforts, he died a short time later.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District established a crime scene to commence an investigation into the crash and are appealing for witnesses, including motorists with dashcam vision, to contact Port Macquarie Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
