SWEDISH fashion retailer H&M is opening at Warringah Mall.
The high street favourite has announced it will unveil a shop at the northern beaches mall — but has not revealed when.
The company opened its first store in Sweden in 1947, called Hennes. It expanded to London in 1976 but only reached Australia in 2014.
The company owns other brands, including COS and Cheap Monday.
It now has more than 4000 stores in 62 countries, selling clothing for men, women and children as well as homewares.
A spokeswoman said: “H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), the international fashion retailer known for fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way, has announced the launch of a new store at Warringah Mall.
“Set to open later this year, H&M at Warringah Mall will be the ninth store to open in NSW. More information on the store will be provided further on, prior to opening.”
The brand is famous for its collaborations with top designers, including Balmain, Lanvin and Versace, which get fashion fans queuing for hours to buy.
Other stores in Sydney include Macquarie Centre and Pitt Street Mall.
