‘I’ve had botox... and I had my lips done before the show,’ admits Lisa Oldfield

Manly
Don't miss out on the headlines from Manly. Followed categories will be added to My News.
MY NEW TV show The Real Housewives of Sydney has started filming – and it’s going to be explosive.
If I see someone getting a bit beyond themselves, putting on the airs and graces, then I’ll pull them back down.
The crew has been filming at my house in Belrose and my children, Henry, 5, and Bert, 4, are very excited about becoming famous. I’ve told them that famous people get free Lego.
I reckon the show is going to take over Melbourne’s spot as the most watched Housewives show after the Beverly Hills one.
We haven’t got any women who have married their money in it.
I work full time in technology and help American companies set up in Australia. I’m currently helping a company to go public, so there’s always plenty on.
I’ll admit it. I have had some Botox and I did my lips before the show. That’s it – for now.
And I’m much better after my neck surgery to remove two discs and replace them with bone from my hip about a month ago.
One of my co-stars, Melissa Tkautz, – the pop star and actor who lives in Frenchs Forest – has become my new bestie. We talk three times a day and she’s a gem.
I think the audience will love her. And she has a new film coming out called Bore, with Hugh Sheridan, who is a very old friend of mine.
We’re blessed with a beautiful holiday home in Palm Beach, so there’s going to be filming there, too.
I’m going to take the girls game fishing on our boat through Pittwater – and I’m sure we’ll shoot some scenes at my parents’ house on Mona Vale Beach.
I love the northern beaches but the end goal, in the next three to five years, is to retire to New Zealand, get some acreage down by the beach, with our horses and our kids.
David’s keen, but also he does what he is told ...
The Real Housewives of Sydney, currently in production, is set to screen in 2017 on Foxtel’s Arena.
EDITOR’S LETTER
Welcome to my special edition of #beachlife. I was thrilled the take the Editor’s chair to help Sarah and Louise put together my fave showbiz column.
I first graced the front page of the Manly Daily when I was three (I built a robot at kindy) and the paper has covered landmarks in mine and David’s lives.
David (Oldfield, former MP) used to live in the apartment block opposite the Manly Daily.
We went on our first date and I did go back for after-dinner drinks. The rest, as they say, is history.
#BEACHLIFE BEAUTY
I tried out these Mecca Cosmetica goodies for you
1, Two Faced Better Than Sex mascara. ($34)
It’s been a while since I’ve had sex so it might be difficult to compare... haha - but this this lasted a lot longer! Best mascara I’ve ever tried.
2, Mecca Cosmetica Lit from Within Face Mask ($15)
My beautician asked if I’d already had a facial the day after this- I certainly was glowing.
3, James Read Tan — Sleep Mask Tan Go Darker Face ($54)
Great colour but Id’s say don’t leave it on as long as overnight. Bit dark!
FASHION
I’m creating my own clothing range with Brookvale-based fashion brand Primari. Called Lisa Oldfield For Primari, it will be coming out in winter and we’re going to document in on Housewives.
It will be a lot of leather, classic leather pants, A-line skirts, dresses. It’s going to be very stylish.
This frock – and one I’m wearing in the Housewives promo shots – is from there.
