Under a rock in bushland a short walk from the western Sydney home of a young woman who co-founded a national beauty empire, police found a blue ALDI freezer bag containing $133,970 cash, 1.05kg of ice and 3.8kg of cocaine.

The blue bag also, police allege, contained DNA consistent with Kimberley Treacy.

Treacy, 29, and her younger sister Courtney, founded the multimillion-dollar cosmetics line The Lip Lab, with 14 stores across the country, in 2015.

The 29-year-old has been charged with commercial drug supply and fraud offences.

Last year the company was reported to have a turnover of $2.8 million annually with plans to expand overseas.

Kimberley Treacy has been charged with commercial drug supply offences following a four-year investigation by Strike Force Algid into the supply of ice and cocaine in south west Sydney.

There is no suggestion that Courtney Treacy has any association with the drug allegations.

Police allege Kimberley Treacy was a significant mid-level dealer in a drugs syndicate masterminded by her de facto partner Shannon Macauley, which used a heavily encrypted short messaging service on BlackBerry phones to communicate.

She was arrested at Camden Medispa in March this year.

When police executed a search warrant on Kimberley Treacy’s Wilton home in 2015, officers allegedly located and seized $10,000 cash hidden in the kitchen range hood.

In September 2016, detectives from Campbelltown and Camden, specialist officers from the NSW Police Dog Unit and members of the South West Region Enforcement Squad searched the bushland along Wilton Rd, a short walk from Kimberley Treacy’s address and found the blue ALDI freezer bag and its small fortune in cash and drugs.

In July 2017, police again searched Kimberley Treacy’s Wilton house and allegedly found $71,050 cash in a cloth shopping bag in a downstairs playroom and a $79,950 cash in a “Christmas present”.

Kimberley Treacy, along with Macauley, 37, have been charged with three counts of prohibited drug supply and two counts of deal with the property proceeds of crime equal to or greater than $100,000.

Campbelltown City Police Area Command crime manager Detective Inspector Greg Inger said: “We like to target mid- to high-level drug offenders and as part of that we identified these two (Kimberley Treacy and Macauley) as allegedly being involved in the supply of a large amount of drugs.

“We look at all opportunities to identify people on the higher end as it has a significant flow-on effect down the chain.”

Macauley was arrested for commercial drug supply in 2017 and will appear in court next month.

A $30,000 bail surety has been posted for Kimberley Treacy who has to report to Narellan Police Station seven days a week.

She will return to Campbelltown Local Court for charge certification on the charges of commercial drug supply and deal with the property proceeds of crime on July 24.
