Multimillion-dollar plans have been unveiled for a new service station, multiple fast food restaurants and community spaces on the site of a licensed club in Sydney’s southwest.

A development application has been lodged by Blacktown Workers Club Ltd with Liverpool Council for the construction of a $14.4m service centre, which would include a 24 hour service station and three detached buildings for food and drink establishments at 205 Adams Rd, Luddenham.

The proposed site borders the southern boundary of the Nancy Walden Airport and the Workers Hubertus Country Club will remain at the rear of the site as a registered club with dining facilities, function rooms.

Documents lodged with council state the proposal would help service the airport and emerging agribusinesses and provide valuable services to future workers, residents and visitors.

The documents recognise the site is part of the highly anticipated Aerotropolis precinct – with the international airport set to open in 2026 – and will be major contribution to western Sydney’s future urbanisation.

The service station will be open for 24 hours and will have 11 bowsers for trucks and cars, a convenience store, car wash and up to two fast food restaurants.

The three detached buildings have sought approval to operate for 24 hours and will have up to two fast food restaurants each alongside communal facilities and seating areas.

The overall development will provide 140 parking spaces, including 70 spaces in the detached buildings.

A spokesman for Blacktown Workers Club was unable to comment due to being overseas.
