Kings star calls on Hills fans

The Sydney Kings will take on their biggest rivals this weekend in a top-of-the-table clash.

The Sydney Kings will take on their biggest rivals this weekend in a top-of-the-table clash, and star player Julian Khazzouh has encouraged Hills residents to join the action.

Khazzouh attended Oakhill College and played for the Hills Hornets Basketball Association before joining the Kings.

The 30-year-old, who has been sidelined since December with a torn quadriceps tendon, has encouraged fans to show their support at the game on Saturday night.

Khazzouh said the Kings’ new home-ground at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Olympic Park made it easier for Hills residents to travel to the game and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.

“We’re leading the ladder right now and the type of basketball we’re playing is very exciting,” he said.

Khazzouh is expected to be back on court within the next few weeks.

Saturday’s game against the Perth Wildcats kicks off at 7.30pm.

Tickets start from $15.50 and can be bought from ticketek.com.au
