A 26-year-old man has been hit with a series of charges after an alleged hit-and-run at Rouse Hill.
The driver of a Nissan ute allegedly drove through a red light signal at the intersection of Windsor and Schofields roads before hitting a motorcyclist, 63, about 9.30pm on September 12.
The rider was thrown from the bike, suffering serious injuries including multiple compound fractures to his right leg and fractured ribs.
The 26-year-old will face six charges including dangerous and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm.

A NSW Police spokesman said it was alleged the driver of the ute failed to stop after the crash.
“Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit commenced inquiries into the incident and last Friday, a 26-year-old man was arrested when he attended Blacktown Police Station,” the spokesman said.
“He was granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday, September 24.”
