Police are hunting for three men who fled from the scene of a car crash in Sydney’s west after hitting a tree.

Police are hunting for three men who fled from the scene of a car crash in Quakers Hill — after hitting a tree in a residential street.
NSW Police confirmed POLAIR was conducting sweeps of streets surrounding Greendale Tce, Quakers Hill following the incident at approximately 12.40pm on September 13.
“Police were called to Greendale Tce, Quakers Hill after reports a car had crashed into a tree,” a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
“Upon arrival, officers from Quakers Hill PAC found the vehicle unoccupied and commenced a search to locate the occupants, assisted by POLAIR and the dog unit.

“Occupants of the vehicle are believed to be injured and investigations are continuing.”
Quakers Hill resident, Sarah McKay, who saw the incident unfold in Greendale Tce said the three men fled on foot.
“I saw them leave the street,” Ms McKay said.
“Two were very injured and one ran into the park before he realised it was a dead end and backtracked out with the other two.
“I took Plice around 15 minuts to arrive, but the Fire Department got there first and laid down dirt to mop up the fluids from the car.”
Another witness said the men appeared to be teenagers as the ran from the scene of the crash.
