Three people have faced court, charged with alleged drug supply offences on the Central Coast.

Tuggerah Lakes Police District detectives commenced an investigation in May under Strike Force Peterborough into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in the northern half of the coast.

Following extensive inquiries, police conducted three searches at homes in Blue Haven and Halekulani on Wednesday morning.

During the searches, police allegedly located prohibited drugs, mobile phones, an extendable baton and ammunition.

The items were seized to undergo further forensic examination.

The trio faced Wyong Local Court on Thursday, August 8.

Three people were arrested at the properties and taken to Wyong Police Station, where they were charged with various offences and refused bail.

Jamie Lea Treglown, 33, appeared on Thursday in Wyong Local Court, where she is facing 40 charges.

They include 31 counts of supplying small amounts of a prohibited drug, eight counts of taking part in the supply of small amounts of drugs, and one of knowingly directing a criminal group.

Her Legal Aid solicitor applied for bail, telling the court Ms Treglown suffered from bipolar disorder and was making inquiries about getting a placement in a residential drug rehabilitation program.

The police prosecutor opposed bail, telling the court Ms Treglown was captured along with two co-accused on telephone intercepts “supplying meth and cannabis” from June 9 to July 22.

Magistrate John Arms refused Ms Treglown bail to reappear on August 20, for the office of the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions to consider taking carriage of the case.

Benjamin Nichols, 32, faced court charged with possessing a prohibited weapon without a permit, possessing ammunition and four counts of possessing a prohibited drug.

He also applied for bail, with his Legal Aid solicitor telling the court Nichols was the victim of a car crash in 2013 which left him with an acquired brain injury.

However, Mr Arms said Nichols was on parole until February next year after being convicted in the District Court in May last year of separate offending, including “knife offences”.

Mr Arms said Nichols had served time in custody since his car accident in 2013, and refused him bail to reappear on the same date as Ms Treglown.

Meanwhile, a third person, Sharni Sbrugnera, 30, faced court charged with possessing a prohibited drug and breach of bail.

She, too, was refused bail to reappear on August 20.
