Tributes are flowing for a Canberra mum after her body was found at Lake Ginninderra.

Police discovered Nikkita Drazevich’s body on the shores of the lake near Lawson on the evening of February 20.

The 32-year-old’s death is being investigated by ACT Policing who conducted an autopsy on February 22.

An ACT Policing spokesman said the results would be reported to the coroner to determine the final cause of death.

Tributes have flowed for the loving mother who had an “infectious” smile and laugh.

Danika Maree Veronica Anne said Ms Drazevich’s death was a “very big loss” and had left a massive impact on her family and friend’s lives.

“There is no one else like her,” she said.

“[She] has impacted so many people, her laugh was contagious, her eyes shined brighter than the sky and her heart was bigger than this world.”

“I can’t believe you’re gone, I’m still in so much shock,” one friend said on Facebook.

“Rip Nikkita fly high my friend,” another wrote.

“Nikkita was a beautiful soul and will be so missed.”

A fundraiser was created on the weekend to help raise funds for Ms Drazevich’s funeral.

“Nikkita’s passing has left a huge hole in so many people’s lives now she is gone,” the GoFundMe reads.

“Anyone that was fortunate to meet Nikkita would know how infectious her smile and laugh was, how warped her sense of humour was and how kind her heart was, sometimes to her detriment.

“With Nikkita’s untimely death just four days after her older brother’s anniversary of his suicide death eight years ago and seven days before her son’s 10th birthday, we are raising money to help the family cover the costs of the funeral and send our beautiful girl off the way she deserves.”

Those close to Ms Drazevich believe there is more to the 32-year-old’s death and do not accept self harm as the cause.

“Whilst we still don’t have clear answers or reports as to how Nikkita died, it’s becoming apparent that her death is suspicious,” the GoFundMe said.

“Too many anomalies to have been at her own hand or accidental.”

An ACT Policing spokesman said officers found nothing to indicate there had been any suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms Drazevich’s death.

The spokesman said it would ultimately be up to the Coroner.
