Riverstone man Seta Ratucadre allegedly stabbed woman known to him at McDonalds Minchinbury

A man who allegedly stabbed a woman during a domestic violence incident at a McDonalds restaurant in Minchinbury on Sunday will remain behind bars on remand.

Seta Ratucadre, 36, of Riverstone, appeared before Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday charged with using a carriage to threaten to kill, intimidation, causing grievous bodily harm, and contravening an AVO.

About 12.30am, emergency services were called to the fast-food restaurant on the Great Western Hwy following reports a woman was stabbed by a man known to her.

On arrival, Mt Druitt police located a 36-year-old woman suffering injuries to her hands.

She was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident.

Following inquiries, Ratucadre was arrested by Mt Druitt police with assistance from the North West Metropolitan High Risk Domestic Violence Team at Gladstone St, Riverstone, about 1.30pm on Monday.

Ratucadre did not apply for release on bail on Tuesday, but was formerly refused by Magistrate Aaron Tang.

Ratucadre applied to have the case adjourned while he sought legal representation by Sydney Side lawyers.

He also faces a charge of driving while disqualified.

Ratucadre will reappear before Blacktown Local Court on January 24.
