A man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a barrier heading onto a major Sydney motorway.
Emergency services were called to the M7 on-ramp at Eastern Creek about 12.30am on Monday following reports of the smash.
Police and paramedics attempted to revive the driver, but he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The crash closed the on-ramp for almost two hours.
Officers from the Mount Druitt Police area command are now investigating the crash and have urged anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
