Four teenagers have been remanded in custody after allegedly leading police on two pursuits through western Sydney and The Hills in a stolen car on Wednesday night.

Douglas Ebsworth, 19, Jason Blair and Tyreece Brook, both aged 18, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested and charged after Raptor Squad police tried to stop an Audi SQ7 allegedly travelling over the speed limit at Luxford Rd, Hassall Grove.

Police will allege in court the Audi – reportedly stolen from a home in Balgowlah Heights on Tuesday – failed to stop and a police chase was initiated.

The pursuit took place along the M7 before being terminated due to safety concerns. The men have not been charged with stealing the car.

“The Audi continued along the M2 where the pursuit was terminated and PolAir monitored the vehicle before it was seen to stop on Sedgman Crescent, Shalvey.”
