Blacktown: Sajjad Alijabri and Iman Alqatrani charged with concealing suspicious Prospect fire
Two of the three people police charged following a suspicious Christmas Day fire at a business in Sydney’s west have appeared in court.

Two of the three people charged following a suspicious fire that damaged a business in Sydney’s west on Christmas Day have fronted court.
Prospect’s Sajjad Alijabri, 29 and Iman Alqatrani, 49, faced Blacktown Local Court on Thursday, both charged with concealing serious indictable offence of another person.
The allegations relate to a suspicious fire on Aldgate St in Prospect on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Police launched Strike Force Lisburn and began investigating the cause of the fire.
Following inquiries, police executed search warrants on a business on Aldgate St and a home in Blacktown, with officers seizing large quantities of illicit tobacco, nunchaku, three slingshots and five batons.
Police allege Alijabri and Alqatrani failed to inform law enforcement or other appropriate authorities that a serious offence had been committed.
No plea has been entered by either Alijabri or Alqatrani, and both will return to the same court on April 3. They are both on bail.
The third person, Asaad Aljabri, 53, has been charged with dishonestly for gain damage property by fire/explosive, participate in a criminal group – contribute to criminal activity and damage property by fire/explosive.
The 53-year-old remains before the court.
