Motorbike rider seriously hurt in crash at Elimbah

A motorbike rider has been rushed to a Sunshine Coast hospital with “potentially life-threatening injuries” after a shocking crash.

A man has suffered serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle off a 10-foot embankment.

A badly hurt motorbike rider has been rushed to hospital after crashing off a 10-foot embankment in the Moreton Bay region on Saturday morning.

Queensland Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene on Beerburrum Donnybrook Rd, Elimbah at 10:17am.

Four crews, including critical care paramedics and a high acuity response unit were sent to help save the man.

A QAS spokeswoman said the patient suffered significant chest injuries in the accident and had to be rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a “potentially life-threatening condition”.
