A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering stab wounds in the state’s north early Saturday morning.
At 6.10am emergency services were called to an address on East Street, Casino, following reports of a stabbing.
Police arrived and located a 42-year-old man with stab wounds near his stomach.
NSW ambulance paramedics attended to the man before taking him to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Richmond Police District have established a crime scene and begun an investigation into the circumstance surrounding this incident.
Police inquiries continue.
