A 17-year-old, who cannot legally be identified, has been charged with murder, reckless wounding and affray. He is behind bars and his case is due in Children’s Court.

Meanwhile, Pocklington faced Lismore Local Court on Wednesday for a bail review.

Magistrate Michael Dakin set forth Pocklington’s bail conditions, including curfew, when he was granted bail on June 15 last year.

Pocklington has to stay at an East Lismore address between 10pm- 6am each day.

He has also been banned from entering the Casino KFC where Lachlan Andrews died, or its car park, and ordered not to contact prosecution witnesses.

Emergency services were called to the busy fast food restaurant on Centre St in Casino after reports of a brawl, police stated.

Richmond Police District officers and NSW Ambulance paramedics came across multiple teens suffering from stab wounds.

During the fight, which police say involved about 20 people, Lachlan was stabbed multiple times and died at the scene.

He was working on flood-impacted properties when he was tragically killed.

Children as young as 12 turned up to watch the brawl and witnessed Lachlan’s death, according to police.

“There seems to have been some kind of arranged meeting, out of that meeting an altercation started with a number of people,” Superintendent Scott Tanner told media.

The victim’s mother, Linda Pridham previously told The Daily Telegraph she learnt about her son’s stabbing death via the smartphone app Snapchat.

“My other daughter rang to tell me because it was on Snapchat … she told me Lachlan had been stabbed and didn’t make it,” she said.

“There were videos of it and kids put it all over social media”.

In a tragic twist, Ms Pridham received a photo from Casino mother Julie Gronow showing her son Ned and a few of his friends watching the service online.

Less than three weeks later, Ned, 17, was stabbed to death while he slept in bed.

“Lachie and Ned were friends when Lachie moved up there (to Casino) … it’s just so chilling that happened to him just a few weeks after Lachie died,” Ms Pridham said.

Rayne Aylward, 18, faced court, charged with the alleged murder of Ned.

Police have stated the alleged murders of Lachlan and Ned are not related.
