Driver in 60s dead after car crashed into tree on Dulguigan Rd near Murwillumbah in Tweed
A driver has died after his hatchback veered off the road and crashed into a tree in the Tweed Shire. Here’s what we know.

A man has died after his hatchback veered off the road and crashed into a tree near Murwillumbah in the Tweed Shire.
Emergency services were called to Dulguigan Road, Dulguigan, about 5km north of Murwillumbah, about midday on Monday.
Tweed/Byron Police District officers found the crashed car and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver, but the man believed to be aged in his 60s died at the scene.
NSW Police said in a statement late on Monday that the man had not been formally identified.
Officers set up a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
