A South Grafton woman has landed in court after shouting “I’m going to slit your throat, you slut” not long after she threatened to kill her former partner and cut off his penis.
South Grafton’s Deana, also known as ‘Deanna’, Gaudie, 54, pleaded guilty to intimidation and using offensive language in a public place at Grafton Local Court on Monday.
This wasn’t the first time Gaudie has found herself before the courts over the past six months.
In August the 54-year-old landed in hot water after she messaged her ex who she “constantly” argued with over the phone, a court previously heard.
In just one sample, Gaudie said: “I’m going to kill you … You’re a dead f**k.”
“I’m coming out there soon c**t”, “I’m gonna cut your f**king d**k off,” she said.
“You’re just a dying dog mate.”
Gaudie pleaded guilty to the offences but at her sentencing last October she was not convicted on mental health grounds.
However, less than a month later, the South Grafton woman would catch the police’s attention once more.
Police facts state neighbours had made “numerous complaints” about Gaudie’s behaviour in her unit block.
“(She) often becomes intoxicated and shouts out vulgar verbal abuse at the residents and plays music excessively loud,” court documents state.
On November 23 Gaudie was drinking cask wine in her flat when she started to verbally berate her neighbours, a court heard.
She then directed her abuse at another woman, at one point stating: “I’m going to slit your throat you slut”.
Police facts state the neighbour “lives in fear (of Gaudie) … and fears that at any time she could be assaulted by … (her) or her associates”.
She called the police who found Gaudie listening to “very loud music” in the courtyard, according to court documents.
Soon after being asked to turn the music down, Gaudie turned it up again.
“(She) refused to open the door and repeatedly told police ‘f**k off you maggots’,” police facts state.
“(She also) continued to make threats against the victim, stating she was ‘going to get her’ at a later time”.
In court, Gaudie’s case was adjourned with the court hearing she had Covid.
She is due to return to court for sentencing in February.
