FORMER senior Rebels bikie Chris Michael Rymer will fight allegations he hurled a glass bottle from a moving car on the M1 motorway north of Sydney.
Despite the opposition of police who cited his criminal history, Rymer was granted bail the day after his arrest over the incident, when his lawyer argued Rymer’s pregnant dog was due to give birth soon.
The 27-year-old father of two pleaded not guilty to all four charges — affray, destroy or damage property, intentionally throw object at vehicle and stalk/intimidate intend fear — in Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday.

At the September 2 bail hearing, magistrate Andrew George said he doubted Rymer had changed.
“The defendant wishes to present himself as a person who has turned his life around … It is difficult to find that to be a plausible prospect,” Mr George said.
But he granted Rymer bail, suggesting police had a weak case against him and referred to the pregnant dog.

“I am told he has children now and a puppy on the way,” he said.
“At the end of the day I do not know that the prosecution case against him is likely to be successful given there were other occupants in the car.”
